News reports say this morning that America is shocked. Shocked by Janet Jackson. She even had to apologize. Can you believe the FCC is investigating the case?

We can lend a guillotine... Unfortunately, brain transplant is not possible yet. And that's a real pity for all these moralists because they really need a brain transplant.

Funny that the guillotine article says that the severed head kept their senses. I think this is an urban legend. I read once the interview of the guy who had been in charge of using the guillotine in France up to the 70s. He had made about 100 executions using the infamous tool, and he said noone ever seemed to have some kind of reaction. Head off meant dead to him.
What I found funny was that he had a sort of trick to make people think of something else before doing the stuff. He said 'Mind the step' (*) (Attention a la marche), so that they got distracted and stopped thinking of the machine. From the second they looked down, they were pushed on the wood, which was then rotated to its horizontal position and slash!
He said he thought that these last words where the most 'human' thing he could found.
(*) From there one can deduct that the London Underground can be fatal....

The thing that pisses me off more than anything was that they obviously planned the incident, and are now apoligizing for it and pretending they knew nothing about it. Of course they did, only a fool would believe CBS/MTV/Satan. They should not have allowed this incident if they were just going to deny it later. I'd rather see Janet's titties on TV than this brazen hypocracy.

I say "moralists" because that's the word an american neighbour used when we discussed that today; I can quote her : "hey, see my little 1 year and a half girl? She sees my breast every day. She's not afraid of seeing another woman's breast, only adults are afraid of that".
The funny thing for me was seeing that most part of the performance was made up allusive moves miming some sort of sex act between the twos. If one feels disturbed by sex related explicit view, the tit was the less offending part.
Anyway everyone has his own pruderie: in japan pubic hair is a taboo, in USA nipple has better not to be seen and in Europe... well in Europe doesn't come to mind right now.
