I was driving on my way back from the north of Paris to my own place when I saw the signal "construction area ahead, 2kms" on the first panel, the kind of panels running above the whole width of the highway, and made of a 125x28 matrix of bulbs. The second panel one kilometer later indicated "slow down, construction area ahead, 1km". Then in front of the Survilliers parking area, the last panel was showing crazy characters, and those characters were falling from the 1st line to the last, sometimes decreasing in intensity or losing pixels (bulbs), sometimes changing from line to line...

It was not a movie. It's true. It's alive. It's on the highway A1, north of Paris, when you come from Brussels. We're doomed.
