Thanks god, another technophile like me with no cell phone, and no burning desire to get one. Why anyone would want to be reachable 24 hours a day, every day, is beyond me.
No cell phone but Pocket PCs... you're not immune
Just got a cellphone, piggybacking off a family member's plan, and forced to keep my minutes down.
Why? Because I have a volatile car, and I got in a bad situation the last time it decided to be finicky. I only answer the phone when it's my family calling (we use the cellphones to call each other because it's free that way) and tell my friends to call me at home :P
iM thinking about cancelling my land phone line.
I have a mobile phone for me. I use it to make calls when and where I want to. When people call me, I have a red button on it that sends them to the bit bucket.. um.. I mean answerphone.
You may like to read news.zdnet.co.uk/business... . Personally I find mobile phones almost invaluable becuase of text messaging. Email is fine for long messages when an immediate response isn't required, but text messaging is much more instaneous.
got 2 phones for the moment...and one has windows on it!
ps:
waiting for the viruses
