- there are only two comic strips ("bandes
dessinées") able to make me laugh out loud every time I
read them: Gaston
Lagaffe (most of them are hilarious), and Joe Bar Team
(the first one only). I was reading the latter this morning, and of
course, I laughed a lot. WabroWabroWabro
- went to the movies yesterday night and saw "I, Robot". Not the best sci-fi ever, nothing really special with special effects, not the best actors ever - Will Smith and James Cromwell are ok as usual but the others are just bad really bad. In the end a movie that leaves me a taste of unfinished. I regretted the end of the movie is not adapted from Asimov's Bicentennial Man novel.
- from time to time, one person shows he/she has a brain and knows how to use it. If you want to read such a clever person, read Le Monde's interview of José Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, Spain's PM. Hurry up, before the article falls into the pay-per-view section... I envy the spaniards, the right man at the right place at the right time, they are lucky.
- my motorbike (Honda NTV 650cc) gets closer to retirement every day... Yesterday, the horn died, the speed counter's light died, the top case broke, and it seems the cooler has a problem too.
- I hope this shame is not a pre-taste of what's going to happen again in Florida next november...

Instead of envying spaniards, french people should do what spaniards have been doing for 8 years: work more. Zapatero has no merit on it, since the actual situation of Spain is just one heritage. I agree it's nice to have a social politic, but this is not what makes the country go on.
Zapatero is indeed one of the most intelligent politicians around. I can see a great future for him, in the European commission for example, or maybe the UN.
I've seen several interviews with him on TVE (Spanish TV), but since the TVE stable still has to be cleaned out (Aznar managed to put his men all over the place), it never was a clear and neutral interview.
I Robot was just a tech demo for sub surface scattering. I can't think of any other reason that they'd make the robots look like that.

Reste que ce ne sont pas les pauves qui font la richesse d'un pays.
Les pays du tiers-monde sont malheureusement tous pourvus de minorités très riches.
Au bon vieux temps de la françafrique, Houphouet-Boigny dormait sur une fortune absolument colossale, ça n'a jamais fait de la Côte d'Ivoire un pays riche.
Ceci étant précisé, si je suis donc ton raisonnement : pour qu'un pays soit riche il faut donc des riches et un partage équitable des richesses pour que tout le monde en profite ce qui fait donc de toi un authentique gauchiste...
Humm ... je sens que le débat est lancé.

Je suis ni à gauche, ni à droite, je suis la nature humaine. Le communisme n'a jamais marché et ne marchera jamais parce que l'homme est égoïste : il pense à lui, à sa famille et aux amis (et encore ...). Bien sûr qu'un monde parfait serait communiste : on partage tout avec tout le monde, mais le problème est humain et là je vais citer un ami polonais : "Que tu travailles ou pas, à la fin du mois, tu auras toujours tes N zlotys". En clair, c'est à qui en fera le moins .... et c'est là où arrive l'Oncle Sam avec sa théorie affreuse mais terriblement efficace : "marche ou crève !", en clair si tu es un "faible", tu es hors-jeu (c'est une théorie à la Durkheim).
Pour Joe Bar Team, je te conseille le cinquièmletome sorti cet année chez Vents d'Ouest, puisque dessiné par Bar², le dessinateur du premier tome (qui s'inspirait de Franuin), pas par 'Fane.
Malheureusement, Bar² est trèèèèèèèèèèèès lent.
Da Scritch: je crois surtout qu'il a fait un énorme succès inattendu avec le premier Joe Bar Team, une montagne de fric tant en BDs qu'en produits dérivés (quel est le motard français qui ne connait pas JBT???) et qu'il s'est un peu endormi sur ses liasses de billets...
