- fixed at least 5 or 6 well hidden bug in rulers...
- fixed bug 259098
- added buttons to "attach" a positioned object to it's container's left edge, right edge, or both
- also improved rulers to display how a positioned element is positioned relatively to its container's edges. In the screenshot below, see the little tilda, representing a spring, in the horizontal ruler meaning the position is "attached" to the right edge of the container

NVU and Server Side Includes.
Can NVU be used to create a Server Side Include file, (an "SSI file") i.e. with no html, head,or body tag, and then FTP it up to a website?
This would be handy for small business websites, and not-for-profit organizations. The design of the website could be left to the experts, who would create the syntax for calling the SSI. The actual content would be created with NVU by staff of the organization, typically people who can use computer programs, but who are not ready to design web pages. Staff would save the content as an SSI file, then ftp it up to the website.
Thank you.

Talking about springs, I love the way IDEA (a java IDE) made their GUI designer.
See www.jetbrains.com/idea/fe...
Maybe there are some ideas to be picked up from there.
I wish Nvu could display/preview Server Side Includes (SSI) like Macromedia DreamWeaver does.
