"Most importantly, it was never on CNN.com". The photo was not on CNN.com, but the page which displayed it was cnn.netscape.CNN.com.

I wonder who was stupid enough to put something like that on the web. The guy didn't really care of his job...
BTW, this story almost belongs to the bushism category
Note he didn't limit himself to one picture, there was another one called "moron.jpg".
