So I bought a tapeless camcorder JVC GC-MZ500EX. The size is amazing. The video quality is amazing. Even in low light conditions. It's an excellent product. If you are looking for a small, light, robust (no tape mechanism), modern, tri-CCD high-quality digital camcorder with 5 megapixels still camera, I strongly recommend that one. Technology is really fascinating when it comes to such a miniaturization and such quality. A few photos:

I think it is rather the GZ-MC500EX, isn't it ?

And what about the price ?
Oué combien il t'as couté ce petit bijou mmh?
That's a very nice one. Can you tell me, if it's able to record video data in progressive (non-interlaced) formats? That would be awesome. My DV-camera broke yesterday(!), so this might be just the thing to have.
What is the recording mode? Motion JPG as mini-dv camcorder, or mpeg2 as Sony DVD-camcorder?
What is the length of recording (not in LP mode)? 60'?
