Oprah is stupid. Plain stupid... Ok, she is a mega-star. But she arrived at Hermes in Paris 15 minutes after the store closed. Shame, shame, shame. How can Hermes refuse Oprah, the most important person in the world for sure, to enter the store when _she_ wants? So she plans to talk about it in her show and she's calling it her 'crash moment'. As if it was pure discrimination based on her skin color. Yeah baby, all black persons speaking american english and richly dressed like she probably was are perceived dangerous in Paris. Shame on Oprah.

I've hated Oprah for a long time. My hate became that much bigger when we were forced to watch a show she had in school once, about conjoined twins, and I saw just how condescending she was to those girls. Thanks for showing me I wasn't wrong

They're just trying to deny the fact they're racist. They stated themselves that they "have been having problems with North Africans" and now they say the store was closed.

I am shocked that Hermès had to apologize because that witch came too late.
This is so absurd, Oprah is not the center of the world (she's not that known in France as in the U.S). So why can't she accept the fact that the store was closed and they had a special event going on, therefore come the next day. It's so 'ridicule' to always think about racism when a black is being refused or not allow something, like Oprah tends to do a lot in some of her shows too. In this case just accept that the store was closed and 'basta'!(enough, that's it).
Well, I come from France and let me tell you this, even if it is hard to imagine for some people here in the US:
Nobody in France has ever heard of Oprah Winfrey! I repeat: Nobody in France has ever heard of Oprah Winfrey!
If she knocks on the door of a store that is closed anywhere in world but the US, she will be treated just like anybody else. And that's because in all other countries she is just that: somebody else.
So, please, just get over it. Except for some movie and music stars, nobody in Europe neither cares about nor knows any Amercian celebrities. Or put differently: Would you find it unnacceptbale if Michel Drucker were to be unable to enter Tiffany's in New York after the store is closed? I mean, we are talking about Michel Drucker!! THE talk show host in France.
Come on, people. This is America, not the entire world. If you care about baseball and football and nobody else does, that means that the "world series" is not a world championship, it's just the American national championship and only America cares about it.

Oprah is a "talk show" host. Her pollution has even reached into Canada. The topics discussed on her shows are all more or less based on
la psychologie populaire et des tragedies personelles. Autrement dit, la sorte de non-litérature qu'on trouve dans les kiosques des gares centrales. De la merde totale. Elle est un échantillon typique des americans qui n'acceptent aucune critique de la morale rectitude de son pays.
Oprah is a Zulu from Honolulu with a lot of shit in her head. Her show is a TV tabloid. The show is so bad that you have to offer each audience member a car, otherwise noone would show up. Outside America she is unknown which shows that the rest of the world has a higher average IQ than Americans.
