Awful night, I almost did not sleep because the room stinks like an old waste pipe, the hotel probably has a BIG problem with ventilation ; air conditioning did not help at all. The smell even increased during the night. My colleague Laurent had the same problem and slept with an open window. So we ended up at the reception desk this morning asking for other rooms. We got complimentary breakfast (can you believe bkfast costs 24 euros per person here ?) but that's a cheap counterbalance for such an awful night... What's wrong with all hotels in Amsterdam ? It's the sixth or seventh time I'm here, and there is always issues with hotels, whatever the class or the price. Sigh.
