Krasnapolstink at Xtech 2006 #2

So I got another room at the Krasnapolskystink hotel, in another wing. The smell went away but the noise came in. My windows are just above one of the major streets going from the Damrak to the Red Light district. The street is full of bars, restaurants, weird shops and tourists laughing and screaming. The high level noise did not stop between midnight and 8am... I love Amsterdam really. A luxury hotel for 200 euros per night (and that's a special price) unable to have correct noise insolation....
And the smell came back ! It clearly comes from the ventilation system : I left the door of the bathroom well closed during the night and this morning the bathroom was stinking, the same smell I had in the other room. Disgusting. This hotel is ideally located in the center of the city, but that's certainly the last time I spend nights here.
On another note, our talk about Etna starts in 20 minutes from now and I have a monster headache. Lovely.

gru: Gaasperplats camping ?-) Je connais bien.
my room smells nice
