You probably heard Kirk Kerkorian (4 k's in one name and he's not even Finnish, wow) say a partnership between GM and Renault/Nissan could be an excellent thing for GM. On Fox News, this original news report "French carmaker Renault said it was ready to study an alliance with General Motors Corp and confirmed that GM shareholder Tracinda had approached the company and its Japanese partner Nissan over a deal with GM" was a little bit adapted, and well, rewritten : " Kirk Kerkorian (...) said Friday that automakers Renault SA and Nissan Motor Co. are interested in purchasing a significant stake in GM and including the Detroit automaker in their alliance"... Hey, the board had its first meeting about it only this morning !!!
So let's announce another secret partnership. It's again between two very big companies, two big names : I am pleased to announce a future partnership between two companies already having direct and important managerial links, Microsoft and Ikea. Microsoft builds Windows, and like everyone else in the world, Ikea makes it crash ; Ikea build chairs, and Ballmer crashes them. So the natural motto of the new conglomerate will be "We build it and we crash it". And of course the name of the new conglomerate will be Mikea, until Disney sues them.
