I may have missed something while I was away, but if I recall correctly, Israël's army crossed the libanese border to find two abducted soldiers, right ? We're more than a thousand deaths later and the two soldiers have vanished from the surface of the planet and, that's more surprising, from our newspapers... It also vanished from israeli demands. Did I miss a news report saying they were found dead, or they were freed, or whatever during my stay in Spain ?
And what about the soldier abducted in the Gaza strip ?

Nobody's talking about them anymore, and nobody talked about the 2 civilians (a doctor and his brother) Tsahal abducted in Gaza a couple of days before the first Israeli soldier was kidnapped...

Need to find it again, but I saw on a libanese site at the start of the war that there was strong rumors that the two soldier were actually dead, so it would be very hard for Hezbollah to comply with the israeli demand that they be freed.
The real motivation from start was of course the katouchka, so let's pray the libanese/finul force will suceed to stop their launch or it will start all over again. Can't help being sceptic still, the finul is already saying it will take them one full year to go to 15 000 members.

Maybe they just found out violence and hatred is not the answer...
The only way out of this is increase the wealth on both sides of the border so that people have too much to loose to waste their lives for someone they only know from TV or elections. If you've got paradise here, why get killed and take your chances on a paradise in heaven? Maybe there is no paradise or heaven when you're dead.
But then again I'm an atheist. Maybe if the UN builds atheist/humanistic schools in both countries the problem will disappear in 20 years.
