R.I.P. FrontPage, finally...

Wow, I missed that report last week : FrontPage is dead. Being a standards weenie, I am quite glad to see this piece of crapapplication find its grave... The Web is full of true markup horrors generated by FrontPage, and FrontPage did not really improve during all these years. On another hand, I certainly don't forget this piece of crapapplication allowed litterally millions to write their first web page. Some even wrote web sites with it !

Let's see it as the great neandertalian ancestor overshadowed by the more modern sapiens : Expression Web Designer.

Well done, Microsoft. Congratulations, and I'm serious.
