After minimal efforts, it starts looking like something usable. But I am not really happy of the way I am getting the slice data from the feedurl and I will probably revamp that entirely. BTW, it's still painful we don't have an HTML parser reachable from JS w/o an hidden iframe... I am also unhappy with the often too long webslice titles, in particular on eBay. IE8 does not offer any direct mean to tweak that title. You must first register the webslice, and then edit its properties. That's bad design because registering a webslice opens an OK/Cancel dialog in IE8 anyway... I am going to add that to my implementation in Firefox.
