Webchunks 0.30 progress

Thanks to user feedback, I have fixed at least two issues in forthcoming 0.30:

  • a document charset issue
  • the throbber was incorrectly reset after load

I have already updated the XPI. Stay tuned, feedback still welcome.

Oh, and I may give a try to something even better : add Webchunks to Places...

You should add it as a standard object in the Customize section of the toolbar. I really like the idea of this addon, but don't want a whole new toolbar, I'd rather add it in to the menu bar.

Wow!
What a coincidence!!
I also wanted to suggest the same time as poedgirl!
Have each WebChunk as a Toolbar Icon, NOT as a whole new Toolbar..

You mentioned "Add Webchunk to Places"! That might just be the Key.. Then, we can have each Webchunk as one Place which can be placed on the Bookmark Toolbar SEPERATELY.. :)

Hi Daniel, I like you're webchunks extension.

I have another use case for it: printing parts of webpages. Often you are only interested in printing parts (especially when the webauthors didn't provide a print style sheet that hides the navigation).

With webchunks you could select the element you want to print, turn it into a chunk - and print it, if I could figure out how to print a chunk!

thanks
